Limelight by Alcone Part 2: The Foundation

I've always been the type that never had a holy grail foundation. I would really like a foundation but then after a few months, I wouldn't so I would move on to the next one. I loved Makeup Forever's Face and Body and I still like it but it's not my holy grail.

But I do believe I've found my holy grail foundation.

It's Limelight by Alcone's Perfect Coverage Botanical Foundation. This mineral oil Free, Lanolin Oil Free, Fragrance Free creme foundation is so perfect for dry to oily to even sensitive skin. It was developed by world renowned makeup artist Vincent J-R Kehoe. As President and Director of Research Council of Make-up Artist, he designed and produced a foundation that has been the choice of professionals and celebrities for almost a decade.

We have 12 beautiful shades for $36.00.  And I hear more shades are coming.

These foundations blend so beautifully on the skin. A little goes a long way.

I know you're asking "But Nicol, I love my (insert favorite foundation name), what's the difference?"  The difference is, this is a professional brand of foundation that almost every top makeup artist has in their kit. It has 50% more pigment compared to department store brands that have about 12 - 20% pigment that you're use to. That means, a little goes a long way and this will last you a lot longer even with everyday usage. You will get your money worths.

Check out these swatches from San Deigo professional makeup artist Jennifer Bueno.

Class of 2015!!

I am now apart of the class of 2015 at Montgomery College with an Associates Degree in General Studies.  I am so proud of myself!  It was a long time coming but I made it!

Leading up to graduation I was excited but then didn't feel like it was a big deal until I was putting that cap on my head. I was in the gym bathroom with a couple of other ladies and we all just kinda of started at ourself in the mirror and smile. I finally broke the silence and said, "Ladies, we did it!" and we all laughed! The day was long but so rewarding.
